Target Audience

This two-day intensive training course is designed to help laparoscopic gynecologic surgeons to acquire knowledge of instrumentation and applicability, to understand the advantages and difficulties of laparoscopic suturing, to master fundamental and advanced techniques, to acquire practical and theoretical skills related to laparoscopic suturing, and to learn tips and tricks to enhance the suturing process and make it more efficient.

Course Features

  • Lectures, dry lab and hands-on skill training on animals
  • Provide high-quality anatomy teaching on animals that focuses on a laparoscopic approach to pelvic anatomy

Methods of the Training

  • Classroom lectures, dry lab, and hands-on practices on animals.  During hands on session, participants will be divided into small groups and the trainers will support & guidance for each station.

Selection Criteria

  1. Years of training: Priority is given to residents in the final year of training or first to the second year after specialization.
  2. Interest in gynecologic endoscopy and desire to develop the skills in advanced laparoscopic surgery.
  3. Recommendation from the head of department or international society.

The course fee will be waived for participants with full attendance and completion of the whole workshop. In addition, APGET will also support the following expense:
